Meet our Brilliant
The owner of the friendly smile that greets you at our Gawler Clinic belongs to our receptionist, Toni.
With qualifications in human disability care, Toni now focuses her caring attitude towards our patients and owners, and as someone who’s never been able to walk past a pet without giving them a pat or a cuddle, Toni’s ready to make you and your fur babies feel happy and comfortable when you arrive.
Toni loves to paint, play netball and basketball for fun and is in the middle of renovating her house.
A Barossa local, Toni lives with her tiny chihuahua/shitzu cross Daisy – an attention seeking little ball of energy that just loves a cuddle as well as her ratbag cat Pudding!
With extensive hospitality experience and qualifications in Frontline Management, Connie’s organizational skills and calm-in-a-crisis manner are crucial to making our business run effectively.
Connie joined the team in 2008 and over the years has gradually taken control of, and streamlined, a range of clinic functions, and was the driving force behind our successful move from Bright St to our new clinic on Redbanks Rd.
Now our Clinic Manager, Connie is the glue that holds our team together, and loves the experience of supporting a small, family-owned and community minded business.
Connie lives with her partner and two daughters, and we love to use her dog Anzac in our clinic advertising!
A Barossa girl, currently studying a bachelor degree in animal behaviour, Holly joined our team as a consult nurse in 2021 after working for 3 years in hospitality. She's got customer service skills with both people and their pets and loves to have a good laugh.
Full of smiles, jokes and tv quotes, Holly is a crazy cat lady owning 4 crazy cats herself and 1 maremma doggo. Coming from a background of animals from her hobby farm, she loves to cuddle and play with any sort of animal from a guinea pig to an alpaca.
Once Holly finishes her degree she hopes to get to work with wildlife, primarily marsupials.
With a love of all things with feathers, fur and scales, Ebony decided early that she wanted to become a Vet. In year 10 she completed a week of work experience at a vet clinic and was offered part time work as a Junior Vet nurse.
Ebony has a passion for science and maths and with all of her subjects picked for her final year of school, Ebony plans to enrol at the University of Adelaide.
Ebony has 2 dogs, Mack (an American Staffordshire Terrier), and Millie (a Beagle crossed with Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Jack Russell) and has 3 tropical fish named Vader, Skillet and Wilbur.
Ebony is passionate about what she does and looks forward to learning more from the team at the practice and is as equally passionate to care for your pet in any way she can.
A passionate Veterinary student at the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences at Roseworthy Campus, Carrie joined us at the end of 2021 as a member of the support and reception team. Having worked for years in the companion animal nutrition and retail industry, Carrie brings experience and a keen interest in dog and cat nutrition, behaviour, and welfare.
Outside of work and study Carrie enjoys gardening, painting, and going on adventures with her dog Tilly. She lives in Gawler East with Tilly and her two cats, Charlie and Tessa. You will often find her out in the evenings with Tilly on the various walking tracks and parks found in the Gawler region.
Roy is an international student from Hong Kong currently studying Veterinary science at the university of Adelaide. Being a Vet has always been Roys dream and he is hoping to gain experience and a better understanding of the Veterinary industry by learning from the best!
As well as Roys love of petting and cuddling all fur babies, in his spare time he enjoys sports, and plays volleyball and golf himself for fun.
Roy has two tuxedo cats of his own, who are currently being spoiled rotten at home by his lovely parents.
