    Casey-Lee Fadden

    VETERINARY NURSE MANAGER

Casey-Lee is the Nurse Manager and Lead Surgery Nurse at Gawler Veterinary Services, where she is responsible for the day-to-day organisation of all hospitalised patients and surgical procedures behind the scenes. With 11 years of veterinary nursing experience and 4 years at Gawler Veterinary Services.

Originally from Queensland, Casey-Lee moved to South Australia to complete her veterinary nursing work experience. She quickly realized how much she enjoyed the work and the skills she was picking up. The friendships she built along the way made the experience even better, and before long, she decided to stay and make South Australia her home.

Casey-Lee is also the founder of Paws In A Pod, a small cat adoption group run through the clinic. One of her greatest passions, Paws In A Pod sees Casey-Lee fostering kittens, nursing them back to health, arranging their desexing, vaccinations, and microchipping, and finding them their forever homes. While saying goodbye is never easy, she adores being part of each kitten’s journey to their happily ever after.

When she’s not coordinating surgeries or caring for foster kittens, Casey-Lee enjoys art, cooking, and singing. At home, she shares her life with Hero, her Chihuahua, and Polly, her cat and proud foster fail - but hey! one foster fail out of 100+ kittens isn’t too bad at all!
